- In most cases, they catch small prays, such as hares and rabbits, and they are consisting around 80 percent of their diet.

They also love to eat rodents and birds. Their ear helps them locating their pray while their paws allow them to walk silently, like a predator, behind their prey's back.

- They have excellent eyesight, which allows them to spot a mouse from a very long distance.

- The kittens stay in the lair for few months, until they learn at least some survival skills. After that, they become independent when they are 10 months old, but they stay with their mother until they turn two.

- Iberian lynx can survive a cold winter and really low temperatures because their body is designed in such a way, they can even live in cold mountains. They have long  hair on their feet, which helps them regulate their body temperature.

- Like most cats, they are very good in climbing trees.

- Earlier these cats were classified under Eurasian lynx, but now things are changed. They are considered a separate species, with a cat-like face.
