When it comes to dogs there are several fun facts that you are bound to keep you guessing and in this article I have shared with fun facts about dogs that are bound to keep you guessing.
• They only way dogs can be able to dispatch heat is by panting. In addition to that dogs are known to sweat from the bottom of their feet.
• When it comes to facial expressions, dogs have over 100 different ones most of which are made by their ears.
• While cats have over 100 vocal sounds dogs are known to have about 10 of them.
• Worldwide there are over 350 breeds of dogs which are completely different.
• Dogs tend not to have appendix.
• Dalmatians, dogs which have been made popular thanks to Hollywood are usually born as pure white dogs. They usually develop the black spots as they grow older.
• Contrary to belief dogs can actually see colors. The only color that a dog doesn’t recognize is red and it usually registers as gray. Colors such as green, yellow, blue, as well as gray, can easily be seen by a dog.
• When they run at full speeds dogs are able to reach speeds of up to 19 miles per hour.
